System Components
XRT
The XRT is a super routing matrix for base devices that can switch and distribute signals independently. Six of the twelve SFP ports support high-speed connections, each of which can transmit 2,048 audio channels.
XCPU
An XCPU is the core of every base unit. It has an organizational and monitoring function and provides interfaces for user operation. External control systems can also access the system via the XCPU cards.
XFOC-LC
The XFOC allows NEXUS Base Devices to be connected via fiber optic cables. This makes it possible to create complex networks whose topology has virtually no limits.
XSYNC
The XSYNC makes it possible to synchronize NEXUS with external video sources. This ensures that each video frame is always assigned exactly the same number of audio samples.
